Media client alpha is released
We released the first alpha version of the client for sybas media servers and the forthcoming medabridge.
Client coming very soon
Alpha version of Client to play content from synabse servers, ie. those for the showcenter, linkplayer etc. will be posted next week. Locates servers via bonjour and plays via our mplayer applet. Works with windows and os X and maybe Linux. Not tested on Vista yet.
Java applet released
We have released an early version of the Java mplayer applet, see the downloads page. Watch the wiki for technical details.
Plan for the week beginning 01/15
Release alpha of the mplayer applet finally.
Reseach adding an option to switch between vlc and mplayer as the default player for the applet. There is an opensource interface available for vlc we could maybe use. I tried using the foxfire vlc plugin and was less than impressed.
